Sono bravissimi nn c'è nulla da dire,ma è stato il mio tastierista a farmeli schifare!!!Canto in un gruppo MDM e il tastierista vuole fare gli assoli come Rudess!!!Risultato?una delle preime canzoni è durata 8 min.

"Sono iniziati i lavori per la produzione teatrale dell'acclamato concept dei DREAM THEATER "Scenes From A Memory".
E' una vera performance teatrale, e non una performance dell'album.
Lo spettacolo, scritto e diretto dal vecchio fan dei DREAM THEATER Danni Segal,
sarà replicato in 4 serate, dal 17 Novembre al 19 Novembre 2005, al De La Warr Pavilion,
a Bexhill, East Sussex in Inghilterra. Questa potrebbe essere l'unica occasione per vederlo."

04:14 | Secondo me con la tecnica non si va da nessuna parte...per me una buona canzone è fatta da tante cose assieme, la bravura probabilmente è l'ultima cosa a cui bado...
Anche tiziano ferro è bravo a cantare(provate a negarlo!) ma le sue canzoni... che dio mi perdoni !!!!
Secondo me non bisogna MAI esagerare.... anche un testo impegnativissimo senza una buona melodia non mi dice granchè, lo stesso vale per una melodia stupenderrima con un contorno di testo banale/vuoto/inutile o simili...
Com'è che certi gruppi piacciono subito invece il 90% dei fan dei dream theater ci hanno messo DEL TEMPO a farseli piacere ??? E' inutile pensare a quanto sono bravi...se a livello sentimentaloso non dicono nulla... magari questi discorsi sono troppo melodicisti però io sono fatta così

 Per quanto riguarda i testi, vi dico che sono stupendi...
la tecnica è ok (e su questo non potete dirmi nulla )
e poi non è vero che le loro canzoni non hanno sentimenti, pensate ad "Another day" o a "The spirit carry on"...
insomma cosa gli manca?
e poi io ci ho messo solo un decina di minuti per abbandonare i Blind Guardian come gruppo preferito e passare ai Dream...
E POI DICIAMOCI LA VERITà, SONO PIù VIOLENTE ED AGGRESSIVE LE LORO CANZONI CHE QUELLE POWER E GOTHIC...
Esempio? paragonate l'intero train of toughtad un qualsiasi album dei Nightwish (che io stimo tanto) oppure "Lie" (n°8 di Awake) a qualcuna dei Blind Guardian, o degli Stratovarius, o che so, sceglietevi un gruppo power...
