20:40 | secondo voi i blast-beat (per chi non lo sapesse, il martellamento sul rullante a velocità schizzate...) non si adattano bene al thrash? come mai nessuna thrash band non ha utilizzato questa tecnica come nel death?

21:07 | Premetto che non sono un grande fan del blast beat tipo Nile, Hate eternal, Kataklysm però alcuni gruppi thrash che usano il blast beat ci sono ma lo fanno solo a momenti.
Il primo che mi viene in mente sono i Warbringer nella canzone "At the crack of doom" (assai figa tra l'altro)

il primo blast beat usato nel thrash metal è stato quello dei gammacide,certo non era velocissimo ma sono stati uno dei primi gruppi ad utilizzarlo,poi successivamente altri gruppi lo hanno fatto (anche veloce come dici te) e come dice filippo anche i warbringer lo hanno utlizzato.

00:06 | Il blast beast si è evoluto per quanto riguarda la velocità, ci sono certi batteristi che tengono un tempo tale da dare l' impressione che stiano suonano con due mani da quanto vanno veloci.
Ma per il thrash una cosa del genere è irrealizzabile, sia perchè è una tecnica più propria degli artisti estremi, sia perchè difficilmente penso si coniughi.
Oltretutto già ora penso sia difficile che si sposi al thrash.
Per me le velocità massime che il thrash può sostenere (sempre per quanto riguarda la batteria) sono quelle di Slayer, Morbid Saint, oltre la velocità sfora e paradossalmente non attira più

Però quello che volevo dire è che il blast - beat serve a devastare in maniera totale, mentre nel thrash c' è ancora un appiglio "musicale" nel senso che i riff sono in genere molto più netti rispetto al brutal, al black o al grind
